About Me
Hi there I’m Makenna Livingston,
Originally born in Seattle, I relocated to Southern California in 2016 before settling in Grand Junction, where I’ve spent the last four years as a Mass Communications student and women's tennis player at Colorado Mesa University (CMU).
At heart, I am an outdoor and travel enthusiast, you’ll either find me outside or halfway around the world. And I mean I am an enthusiast. If I am not at home working or playing tennis with the CMU women’s tennis team, I’m either hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, fishing, camping, or wherever else in the dirt.
With this passion and education, I have turned adventure into a pursuit of all sorts of things. I have worked as a writer and photographer for The Criterion, launched my own marketing business called Kenna Travels Media, and even took the corporate route last year, working in sales at a fintech company in Seattle.
I am so excited for you to meet me. I thrive speaking with people, connecting with them and empowering both people and businesses alike to succeed in whatever they are doing
My Values
Collaboration and Teamwork
I believe in collaboration over competition—because true strength is built through teamwork. As captain of the women’s tennis team, I learned that lifting others up leads to greater success for everyone. Whether it's on the court or in a creative project, I value shared goals, open communication, and the kind of support that brings out the best in each person.
Passion with Purpose
I believe passion fuels purpose. When I’m genuinely invested in what I do, I bring energy, intention, and meaning to every project. Staying connected to my “why” keeps me motivated.
Growth Through Challenges
Challenges aren't obstacles, they are an opportunity for growth. Embracing challenges is what drives me to keep improving and pushing forward
Communication is Key
Clear communication is at the heart of how I work, whether it's with team members or businesses. I value being direct, intentional, and proactive in every interaction.
